When you book with Elope Montana, your experience begins with getting to know one of our experienced photographers and officiants. Once we all become best freinds, we get started on tailoring your package to fit the unique humans that you are! Here are the details for our most booked package:
A personalized wedding ceremony, written and performed for you.
Delivery of your signed Flathead County marriage license to the courthouse.
Keepsake copy of your ceremony.
3-6 hours of photography coverage (give or take drive time).
A flash drive with all of your gorgeous photos.
A special surprise!

“We think we want to get married in Glacier National Park but we aren’t sure where or how to get our permit. Help!”

A $125 Special Use Permit is required to get married in Glacier National Park. Permits must be submitted no less than 14 days before the ceremony date. Because Glacier is such a popular wedding destination, we recommend that you submit early and choose a primary and secondary location. Don’t worry, we will totally help you find the perfect spot! Please note that the permit only needs to be secured if you plan to have your ceremony within park bounds. I.E. you can skip the permit, say your “I do’s” outside of the park, then go in for photos. The Elope Montana team will not perform a ceremony in Glacier National Park without a permit. Click here to get to GNP’s website for more information.

Established in 1910, Glacier National Park (aka the “The Jewel of North America”) spans over 1,000,00 acres and includes 2 mountain ranges, 130 (named!) lakes, and over 700 miles of trails. It is big and it is beautiful! Click here for galleries featuring some of our favorite locales!

Because they don’t call this “Big Sky Country” for nothing, here are some distances that might help you as you plan out where you want to say “I do.”

Elope Montana HQ (Whitefish) to West Glacier = 26 miles (35-45 minutes)

Elope Montana HQ to East Glacier = 81 miles (1.5 hours)

Elope Montana HQ to Many Glacier = 140 miles (3 hours)

Elope Montana HQ to Polebridge = 45 miles (1.5 hours)

This map should help get you oriented to our area and some of the most beautiful areas in the park to choose from.

  • WE ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKING! WHAT’S OUR FIRST STEP?

First, contact us to make sure we are available for the date you are interested in! (NOTE: We do not book past 12 months out. So if you’re looking to get married within that time, get a hold of us!)

Next, our photographer and officiant will contact you individually with contracts and information about how to take care of our (respective) retainer fees.

Then, we are all yours! We will help you find the perfect location for your “I do’s” and other photos, and arrange details such as cake, flowers, hair, makeup, and champagne, making this the best, most stress-free day ever! We send you a comprehensive elopement guide that will answer all your questions, however, we are always just an email or phone call away to answer any other questions!

  • CAN WE BOOK MEMBERS OF YOUR TEAM SEPARATELY, OUTSIDE OF ELOPE MONTANA?

Yes, each of our team members is available outside of Elope Montana.

However, by booking us together you will a) get a team of women who work brilliantly together and have the experience to provide you with everything that you need, and b) a discount on the services that we generally charge more for outside of the Elope Montana umbrella.

Officiants: Elisheba Bagrow, Kate Berry, Erin Sabin

Photography: Lindsey Jane, Ahlani Bree, Jennifer Vernarsky

  • WE THINK WE JUST WANT A COUPLE OF PICTURES. CAN YOU DO THAT?

Listen. We can all empathize with wanting to save a few bucks, but investing in photography is totally worth it. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and our 3-6 hour West Glacier package will allow us to capture the memories of getting ready, your ceremony, and your newlywed bliss! How priceless is all that? We’d also love to capture your WHOLE day, from the moment you get up, a sunrise & coffee together, to the sunset and then celebration.

Lindsey Jane’s, Ahlani and Jennifer’s style is timeless and they are phenomenal at helping couples feel at ease. These memories will last a lifetime, and we think you’ll be grateful to have beautiful photos to look back on and remember your magical Montana elopement.

  • WHERE IN MONTANA ARE YOU LOCATED? ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR TRAVEL?

Our team is based in beautiful Whitefish, Montana in the Flathead Valley of northwest Montana. And yes, WE LOVE TO TRAVEL! We would be excited to talk to you about your destination elopement. Just ask!

  • WHERE DO WE GET A MARRIAGE LICENSE?

You can apply for your marriage license here. After you arrive, you can pick up your marriage license at the Flathead County Courthouse at 920 South Main, Kalispell, MT 59901. All you need to do is bring $53.00 and identification. It is the couple’s responsibility to apply for and pick up their marriage license.

  • DO YOU PERFORM RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES?

We are spiritual, but not necessarily religious. The ceremonies we perform are crafted to celebrate you and your partner as a couple and your idea of love and marriage, rather than a God or a religious text.

  • IS YOUR TEAM AVAILABLE FOR LARGER WEDDINGS (NOT JUST ELOPEMENTS)?

Yes, we are available for a select number of larger weddings and would love to talk about being a part of yours. We define ELOPEMENT as 12 people or under. We do not book more than 12 people including the couple.

  • HOW DO WE ADD-ON EXTRAS, LIKE FLOWERS, HAIR, MAKEUP, CHAMPAGNE, AND CAKE?

Let our team know which details you are interested in and we will help make it happen! We work with Flathead Valley’s best wedding vendors to provide you with tasty treats, bubbles, gorgeous makeup, and beautiful bouquets - all of which will certainly bring your day to life! If you prefer to handle these details yourself, we’d be happy to share with you a list of preferred vendors!

  • WHAT DO WE DO IF THE WEATHER IS AWFUL ON THE DAY WE HAVE SET FOR OUR ELOPEMENT?

We’ve found that the elements can be a DREAM! We go with it. We are equipped with various plans to accommodate the weather and more. For example, we worked with a couple who dreamed of seeing the peaks of the mountains. Well, the weather had other plans. It ended up being a Blizzard. BUT this blizzard ended up being their favorite part of their experience. We had so much fun playing in the snow, making for the most beautiful photos with the fall colors & white snow.

Are you available for LGBTQ+ elopements?

Heck yes, we are!!!
