Photography - Lindsey Jane

Lindsey Jane, a wonderful name! I have been photographing people, weddings and elopements for 14 years now. Elopements are my favorite because of the intimacy and ease involved. No stress makes for some pretty special moments.

Having a photojournalism background, I’m well-practiced in catching the moment. The moment you can feel, the genuine & heartwarming moment. It’s what fuels & inspires me artistically.

At home you can find me enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Western Montana, cuddled up with a book (fiction) and loving on my family. I have a chef (not by trade) husband who supports me like no other, a 12-year-old son who is so rad, and a 6-year-old spitfire daughter. We adore our kitty Millie and cherish our time together. I LOVE to travel and am always looking forward to my next destination.

I can’t wait to capture your love for one another authentically and beautifully!

Kate Berry Elope Montana Celebrant

Celebrant - Kate Berry

Hi! I’m Kate! I’m a wearer of many hats (literally and figuratively), working by day as a therapist and occasionally moonlighting as an elopement officiant. It’s an incredible honor to get to know the people in the ways I do, and getting to tell couples’ stories and give them a road map from their past to the present, and into the future is one of the most rewarding things ever. Plus, there’s usually cake involved with elopements! What’s not to love?

As for the rest of my life, I’m a bit of a sports-mom, and my family and love getting out and playing in the mountains and lakes that surround us, riding bikes, and strolling the neighborhood with our two big dogs. Around the house, you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book (nonfiction) and my cat, whipping up something tasty in the kitchen, or rewatching old episodes of Seinfeld.

As one of the founders of Elope Montana, I never imagined that I’d get to build something so awesome alongside a such a rad crew of humans. While my availability is quite limited for officiating these days, I know that you’re in great hands with any and all of our team!

I’m originally from Northern California, but I’ve lived all over the world — from the Bahamas to New Zealand and quite a few places in between. I enjoyed a pretty untraditional upbringing that gave me my spontaneity, sense of adventure and appreciation for this beautiful world.

I began my photography journey in 2016 when I landed a gig as a snow reporter in Lake Tahoe. Between you and me, I had absolutely no idea how to use a “fancy” camera at first and spent a lot of time pretending I knew what I was doing. At some point during that season, I fell in love with the art of storytelling through images and a camera has never been far from my hand since.

I am 100% a people person — relationships are everything to me and nothing makes me happier than time spent with good company. I’m super easy-going, love meeting new people / making new friends and I'm usually laughing at my own lame jokes. I’m also a dog mamma to two stinky rescue pups, Totem and Echo.

The memories these mountains and rivers have given me are a part of my heart and I love getting to share that with all who travel to our little corner of Montana. My time here is going on 13 years and the magic of this land never ceases to amaze me.

Ceremony is such an important space to hold in our busy lives. My hope with every couple I get to work with is to bring intention, love, and laughter to your special day. Your elopement is the start to the larger adventure of marriage, a journey that will be unique to you both. I love getting to know you, the big stories, the tougher moments, the little day-to-day routines you have and creating a ceremony that is just for you. Your love and commitment are truly exceptional for it is what brought you together.

As a non-denominational officiant, I am dedicated to creating a lovely space for you and your partner to drop into, a memory that forges your bond forever and celebrates your special day in the enchanted land of Montana.

Hi, I’m Jen! After growing up in a busy Washington town, the cozy quiet of Montana was something I had to learn to love. But after 17 years, it’s completely stolen my heart! The Big Sky State definitely lives up to its name (hello, best sunsets ever!), and you really can’t beat a place that has breathtaking mountain views less than an hour away. So, with landscapes like these right out your front door, who wouldn’t want to become a photographer?

Well, initially, I didn’t really. I actually became a nurse! But I was still fascinated by landscape and portrait photography, so I treated myself to a starter DSLR. But when my brother gifted me a camera for my wedding, I felt that tingly new adventure feeling in my fingertips. I dove immediately into photography courses and fumbled my way through new techniques until I eventually had to admit I was pretty dang good at this! But it wasn’t until I recognized I could truly blend my love for the outdoors with my love of capturing human moments that I became unstoppable!

Today, I am proud to bring my unique sprinkling of adventure to couples, portrait, and elopement photography. With a style that is, above all, defined by natural beauty and sincere connection, I create the kind of art you’ll keep hanging on your wall ‘til you’re 100! I want to make you laugh, explore, and genuinely enjoy every moment of your photography experience, making beautiful memories along the way.

Celebrant - Erin Sabin

Hello, I’m Erin! I moved to Montana from the Pacific Northwest on a dare from two of my favorite High School teachers and never went back.  I spent 10 years in Missoula where I studied English Literature and Creative Writing.  To be honest, most of the “studying” involved skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, exploring and adventuring, but I could write you a poem or check your grammar in a pinch.

After college, I came north to Whitefish and settled in.  I am a mom to two really cool, young women and a few pets.  I own a small private gym where I provide personal training and health coaching.

My peace and spiritual practice comes from time spent in our wide open spaces, sharing time with my friends and family, ridiculous laughter and dark chocolate.  I am deeply honored to hear your stories and be a part of your elopement!

Jaime Yacko Content Manager Elope Montana

Content Manager - Jaime Yacko

I ‘m Jaime, the one behind Elope Montana’s social media and blog content. I am a fourth generation Montanan, yeehaw! My great-grandmother was the first non-Native American woman born on Fort Peck Indian Reservation (Eastern MT) in the early 1900s, where my great-great-grandfather was a teacher. My grandmother was Jr. Miss Montana in the 1960s. My mom is a boss-babe Yoga Studio business owner in Whitefish. As you can see, I am proud to come from a long line of amazing women, which is likely why I was so drawn to this incredible group of women that make Elope Montana so magical.

By trade, I am a Project Manager for a major CPG vitamin gummy brand. I am also a dedicated mom of three sweet babes: ages 6, 4 and 2! You would be correct if you assumed that I am constantly project managing my household, day in and out. Which brings me to my role at Elope Montana; why on earth would I add another thing to my plate?! It’s simple, it’s a creative outlet for me. I LOVE going through the photos that the gals take, I am obsessed with weddings & love. I am in awe of Montana and Glacier National Park. It is so fun for me to share the beautiful work from my Elope Montana Team.

When I am not working… you can find me spending time with my husband of nearly 10 years, my kids, my dog, my family or friends. And we will probably be skiing, hiking, traveling, listening to live music, out on the lake, drinking wine, playing board games or doing 1 trillion loads of laundry (lol).

Our team is committed to making your elopement day effortless and epic
