A Gorgeous Elopement at St. Mary’s Lake in East Glacier

Rachel and Nathan have such genuine love. They described their love to us as fun and weird. They laugh with each other every day. They met while they were both working 2nd shifts, so they got to know each other through breakfast dates while the rest of the world was working. They are best friends and partners in everything and they committed to their love with the Elope Montana team in East Glacier.

Before Jen (photographer) and Erin (celebrant) met up with the couple, Erin went to her super secret spot to pick wildflowers to create a bouquet for Rachel. It was one of those beautiful evenings that makes your heart flutter as you take in the sunset.

They got the overlook to themselves for their ceremony, which is lucky this time of year. The iconic boat cruise crossed St. Mary’s Lake through the layer of spring pollen that blanketed the water as they vowed their love for each other. Not only that, but a curious fox crossed the road during their ceremony.

They ended their night watching the sunset over St. Mary’s where they found a bundle of caterpillar cocoons preparing to release brand-new butterflies. This was a perfect metaphor for the new phase of their love. Congratulations Rachel and Nathan.

XOXO, Elope Montana
