And I’d Choose You, in a Hundred Lifetimes // Sophie & Matthew //

Ok… you know those emotions that just take over your WHOLE body, like when you’re watching a sad/touching/loving part in a movie and you are trying to keep your tears in- but your body takes over and you shake shake shake? I don’t know about you, but I get this from time to time. Usually it’s in a movie theatre where I feel like I need to keep it in. Well, this is what happened to me during Sophie and Mathew’s ceremony. I was a sopping & shaking mess! So were Kate (who still didn’t stammer and did a beautiful ceremony) and Meggan (the videographer) and honestly- EVERYONE watching.

Sophie & Matthew are high school sweethearts. Even though years have passed, their love sure hasn’t faded. They were really just the sweetest together, and Mathew started crying the moment he saw her in her dress during the first look. It was beyond beautiful.

So with a mix of all that, their amazing ceremony officiated by Kate, and their vows, we were all done for. ESPECIALLY his vows. He had this line in the last bit that crumbled us. Something about how if in another life, he would search to find her. Wrecked. "Wicked wrecked” ;) We adored their east coast accents, which they didn’t think they had.

So I tried to put myself back together but still haven’t gotten over that line! (And I’m sure I did not do it as much beauty/justice as he did… but you get the point. Take note: if you want to swoon someone… say something like this to them.

Once I wiped away my many tears, we did some fun family and friend photos. These families were TIGHT. It warmed my heart to see how close they all were and how in love they were with the idea of Sophie & Matthew being together, forever.

We ventured up the road in the beautiful Fall colors, laughed, they toasted with Montana craft beers & cut their beautiful cake. I felt like I was on the set of Princess bride when we were at Big Bend. Just beauty EVERYWHERE!

Thank you two for filling my heart (and eyes) with an overflowing amount of love (and tears). You two are simply put, just perfect for one another! What an amazing love!!! Thank you for letting us be part of your Montana Elopement!
